As the Assistant Sports Editor at DePaul's student newspaper The DePaulia, I was given the responsibility of leading the design of one of the most popular issues every year: the basketball preview. The section I was most central in designing was the "Full Court Coverage" pages. The purpose of these pages was to give a fan all the basic information they would need to start the season. I wanted to highlight the projected starters for each team, while still showcasing the full roster and schedule.
My colleagues at the DePaulia removed the backgrounds from the photos of the players. I was in charge of research for statistics, placement of photos, and creation of graphics in Adobe InDesign.
